International Preparatory Institute

International Preparatory Institute is an education organization department of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. IPI was founded with the purpose of assisting to perform international programs concerned with educational sphere, with development of educational, methodical, scientific and publishing activities, at foreign students’ service informational, tutorial and others aids.

International Preparatory Institute carries out training of foreign citizens for higher education institution of Ukraine. Teaching staff of the Institute has abundant experience in work with foreign students, respective level of educational and methodological grounding. In the study’s course foreign students learn Ukrainian or Russian languages (at student’s choice), and also learn such subjects as: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, geography, history, information science, depends on specialization they want to get.

On completing the course of preparatory training of foreign citizens to enter in higher education institution of Ukraine and successful passing examinations, graduated students receive State Certificates about completed study at International Preparatory Institute. Afterwards they can continue their study at The Presidential University of The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management or at any other key higher education establishments of Ukraine.

In the structure of IPI are: dean’s office on work with foreign citizens, department on the registration and the count of foreign citizens, department on pedagogical work, chair of the humanities and natural sciences.

Term of study is 1 year.

Foreign students are taught in Ukrainian or Russian (at student’s choice).

Procedure of admission foreign citizens to study at The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is performed according to license of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and in accordance with legislation of Ukraine in force. In established order IAPM supply with Invitation forms for getting official Invitation to study and for entry in Ukraine. Also Academy gives support to obtain a visa to education, and organizes meeting on posts control applicants from among foreign citizens.

Persons, who enter the Academy, must file an application of concern admission, where they point out chief subject and education form.

With an application entrant show following documents:

a) Questionnaire in established order;

b) Certificate of secondary education degree or higher degree (original with appendix and its Xerox copies);

c) Documents indicate absence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), or another medical document, if it is statutory;

d) Medical certificate concerned about level of health, attested by health authorities of the country from where has arrived foreigner, and at the latest this document must be issued in 2 month till leave for Ukraine, no more;

e) Insurance policy on giving urgent medical aid (on arrival in Ukraine);

f) Xerox copies of birth certificate and passport;

g) Photos: 6 – size is 35mm x 45mm, and 6 – size is 60mm x 40mm;

h) Opened ticket to return home for a term of one year.

All documents must be attested in accordance with the state legislation of host country, and legalized in established order (it is mean must be consular legalization).

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management furthers foreign students, which arrived in Ukraine for the purpose of study, to draw all required documents that grants sojourn rights in Ukraine.
